Chelsea Flower Show runs from May 25 to 29, 2010 in the gardens of the Royal Hospital, Chelsea, London. An annual event known around the world. Lovers of gardens and gardening do not miss ... the AMVPAC too. Because this year, an appointment is taken to see the rose "Notre Dame de Calais".

Dominique Darré, president of the AMVPAC recounts the events and steps in a fruitful exchange with Britain represented in the person of Caroline Holmes, English historian and landscape designer. An ambitious project indeed than the creation of a rose for a church "Notre Dame de Calais", a rich historical past linked to the destiny of France. A Rose of the same name was to be born on the floor English to become the floral emblem of Calais.
